Wolf of Witchcraft
Dark sea witch from Hans Christian Andersen’s The Little Mermaid (1837). Sister to Triton - the sea god of calm seas and herald of Poseidon - she uses her magic powers for trickery and deceit.
From the Latin word ursa "she-bear", meaning “little bear”.
Goddess of death, regeneration and magic. A patroness of crossroads, travels by night and choices made in darkness. She was worshipped during the dark phase of the moon where 3 roads crossed and embodies the original Holy Trinity maiden-matron-crone who held sway over heaven, earth and the underworld.
